Spinner VC850-5A 5-axis machining center

The VC850 with its fixed table replaced by a fully integrated 4th/5th-axis rotary/tilting table: Ø350 mm, A −110°/+45°, C 360°, rated for 200 kg, for parts up to about Ø350 × 300 mm. An additional clamping plate on the left handles 3-sided work beside it.

Spinner puts the floor space up to 30% below comparable machines of the same working area, using a patented guideway cover with one wiper in X/Y. Choose a 12,000 rpm SK40 spindle for torque or 18,000 rpm HSK63 for speed. Siemens 840D sl on a 24-inch Spinner touch screen, or Heidenhain TNC640 or TNC620.

Options include 22 or 70 bar through-spindle coolant, a rotary joint for automatic clamping, workpiece and tool measurement, and scales. Brochure data; North American options and controls confirmed at quotation.

Spinner U5-630 5-axis universal machining center

Spinner’s best-selling 5-axis. The U630 frame is also built as a 3-axis U3-630 with a 920 × 540 mm fixed table and a 4-axis U4-630 with a rotary table, all on linear guides over a rigid cast base with the top of the machine fully enclosed. The U5 carries a Ø650 / 500 mm rotary/tilting table rated for 500 kg.

Compact is the entry build: 12,000 rpm SK40 spindle, 30 m/min rapids, 24, 32 or 54 tools, Siemens 840D sl or Heidenhain TNC620. Advanced adds 15,000 rpm SK40 or 20,000 rpm HSK63 spindles, 48 m/min rapids, magazines to 122 tools, Heidenhain TNC640 as an alternative to Siemens, 70 bar through-spindle coolant and a pallet changer for up to 30 pallets.

Spinner U5-1530 with rotary/tilting table and fixed table

The U630 platform with X stretched to 1,530 mm and a fixed table on the left of the working area beside the Ø650 / 500 mm rotary/tilting table. Fixture a first operation or a long 3-axis part on the fixed table and finish on the trunnion without a second machine. A removable table top for machining with a tailstock is an option.

The same frame is built as a U3-1530 with an 1,800 × 540 mm fixed table rated for 2,000 kg, and a U4-1530 with a rotary table plus the fixed table. Like the U5-630 it comes as Compact or Advanced, with the same spindles, magazines and controls.

Spinner VC1650-5A swivel-head 5-axis machining center

Here the milling head pivots (+110° / −1°) and the part stays on an integrated rotary table, so the load is always carried vertically. 5-axis parts to about 800 × 800 × 800 mm, tall parts included, and table loads of 1,000 to 2,000 kg. An additional fixed table on the right takes 3-axis work up to the full 1,650 mm milling length.

Two spindles: 9,000 rpm SK50 (HSK100) with 464 Nm for heavy cutting, or 14,000 rpm SK40 (HSK63), 18,000 rpm optional, for speed. 96 or 138 tools. Four extra chip augers feed the front conveyor, and Spinner puts the floor space up to 30% below comparable machines.
