The 5X-12 package, answered plainly.
What does 4+1 mean on the 5X-12?
The trunnion tilts and rotates to position the part, locks, and the machine cuts with three linear axes. That reaches five sides of a prismatic part in one clamping. Expand also builds the 5X-12 as full five-axis simultaneous.
How long can it run without an operator?
The cell has a 50 pallet capacity (15 included), and you can buy more pallets as you need them. Unattended time depends on your cycle time and how many pallets are loaded.
What does the $399,990 include?
The machine with its accessory package, the Expand Robotics cell with its Mitsubishi robot, 50 pallet capacity (15 included), factory setup of the machine and cell, delivery to your rigger of choice, full installation and initial training, 3-day training at Expand’s training center, a 1-year machine warranty and a 3-year warranty on the Mitsubishi control, motors and drives. Options are extra. Rigging into your building is handled by your rigger.
