Built in Japan by Hasegawa. A 25,000 RPM HSK-E40 built-in spindle with 45,000 RPM available, a 150 mm trunnion, Fanuc 31i-B5 five-axis simultaneous control, glass scales, and tool and part probing as standard. The 5X-T variant adds 2,000 RPM live turning on the same trunnion, so complex precision parts finish in a single setup.

The compact five-axis of the range. A 12,000 RPM inline direct-drive Big-Plus spindle with synchronous rigid tapping, a Ø8.27″ hardened and ground trunnion holding 165 lb flat, Heidenhain rotary encoders, and 300 PSI through-spindle coolant with a rotary coupling.

A 12.6″ trunnion holding 330 lb flat, glass scales on all five axes, and roller bearing ways that are roughly twice as rigid as ball ways in the same envelope. A 12,000 RPM Big-Plus spindle at 25 HP peak with a chiller to hold thermal position, running 4+1 or full simultaneous five-axis.

A tighter envelope built for accuracy rather than reach: 15,000 RPM direct-drive spindle, glass scale feedback on all five axes, a 60-tool twin-arm changer and P4 class bearings front and rear. Maximum workpiece Ø430 mm.

The largest trunnion in the five-axis range, carrying parts to Ø20.47″ and 13″ tall. Glass-scale feedback on X, Y, Z and both rotary axes, a 15,000 RPM direct-drive spindle with 20,000 available, roller-bearing linear ways throughout, and sixty tools in a twin-arm changer so a long simultaneous program does not run out of cutters.

The four 3-axis GEN MILLs are the same machine built at four sizes. Every one runs a 12,000 RPM inline direct-drive Big-Plus spindle with 15,000 available, a spindle chiller for thermal stability, 300 PSI through-the-tool coolant, a twin-arm high-speed changer at 2.2 to 2.8 seconds tool-to-tool, and 2,700-block look-ahead. Fourth and fifth axis wiring is fitted from the factory, so adding a rotary later is a plug-in rather than a retrofit. What changes across the range is travel, table size and how much spindle power sits behind the cut — so size the machine to the part, and everything else about how it runs stays the same.

Heavy double-column bridge construction with a 47.24 × 39.37″ table taking 2,000 lb, a 15,000 RPM dual-contact CAT-40 spindle with chiller, 45 mm roller-bearing linear guideways and optional Heidenhain linear scales resolving to 50 nanometers. Control runs 2,700-block look-ahead at 4,500 blocks per second.
